Iver Medical Centre is an accredited Training Practice. Accreditation is a mark of clinical and administrative excellence.
As a Training Practice, hospital doctors come here as part of their ongoing professional training and development to gain the necessary experience they need to become GPs. All these doctors are fully qualified and are supervised by one of the Practice Partners.
Medical students and nursing students may attend the practice from time to time.
We are a National Institute for Heath Research (NIHR) accredited practice for research. We take part in various studies lead by the NIHR, as well those by the RCGP, medical charities and local and national academic organisations.
Our research lead is Dr Neetul Shah. We were awarded Gold level in Research for 2020-2021.
Recent studies that our patients have taken part in include those looking at diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer.
